Reference drawing: Portraiture Tips and Advice


Ever since I can remember, I've always been the "artistic one" in every group I've been in. In high school I distinctly remember being given extra time on drawing assignments because I was so dreadfully focused on the detail that before I knew it, my deadline was there and I had only but drawn the eyes on what was supposed to be a portrait of a role model in modern society. Whoops. The life of a perfectionist.

5 Things I've Learned in my First Few Months as a Blogger


Hi all! So, I started my blog in December of 2014 over the holidays because I'd been intending to for a while, and I just kept putting it off because I never felt like my blog would stand out above anyone else's. It's hard loving something like beauty and makeup because it's so easy to compare yourself to everyone else who loves it-- you all blur together to form one giant beauty community and I often feel like my words are lost among the others who are like myself.

Five Reasons You Should Start a Blog


For a really long time I had always wanted to talk about my thoughts, my life, and my general views on everything but I always told myself that no one would listen. There are a million and one YouTube channels out there, there are five million and one blogs out there; who would care about mine? It isn't a cynical or a negative way to think, it's just a realistic approach to putting yourself out there, and I know I'm not the only one who thinks, or has thought this.
