I've just started a new job in an administrative field, and I've had to take a long, hard look at my wardrobe. I realized that I really don't have a lot of business-casual attire, and for someone that wants to look cute every Monday-Friday for, well, ever, I really don't have enough clothing to do so (I tell myself in order to justify my need to shop...). As such, I've recently taken to Pinterest to pin some inspiration for future work-attire-related purchases!
Hello again! Recently, as a bit of a present to myself after working nonstop the past two-three weeks, I did a little shopping! I drove into the city with a girl friend and we hit up the mall, a few stores here and there, the beauty counter... we went a little crazy. Since it was the May long weekend, every store we saw was having massive sales, so I ended up coming home with bags and bags full of stuff, and my wallet didn't hurt too badly!
I did a bad thing yesterday! Let me just explain myself first. I was at work yesterday afternoon, bartending for a small group of people that booked a hall last minute, and while trying to open a new box of wine, it sprayed all over my nice white shirt. Halfway through the shift. It looked like a murder scene. Before you say it, I tried club soda and it didn't work. It lessened the stains, but on pure white you can still see the sorrow. So, I plan on bleaching it next time I get a chance, but after I finished work I went to the mall to get another white shirt just in case my bleaching process fails horrendously (and uh... any excuse to shop).
Hello! I feel like my March favourites is a little bit late considering it's already a few days into April, but better late than never, right? This coming month I want to purchase some of my wishlist makeup & beauty items so that hopefully next month I have a few new things to add to my favourites!
Hi all, today I thought I would make a post about the things that I'm wishing I could go out and buy for myself! Some of these are new wishies, and some have been on my "to buy" list for ages beyond ages, but don't strike me as needs. I hashtagged this post #BudgetBlues because it does suck to be on a budget, and I know all too well what it's like to scrape your dollars together month to month to afford the necessary things. But sometimes it's nice to have things you'd like to work toward when you have the kind of money to splurge on them.
